Sony offers several A4 black and white printers, each designed to meet your specific need. The UP-990AD and UP-9970AD B&W hybrid graphic printers support both analog and digital applications; the UP-990AD can also use the blue thermal media, which produces high quality film-like transparencies. The UP-D72XR B&W high-speed digital imager outputs both 8x10" film or paper; and the UP-D74XRD digital imager outputs to 8x10" film or paper with both DICOM and USB interfaces.
UP-72XR
8x10" Digital Film Imager (film and paper)
The UP-D72XR is a compact, high speed, black and white digital film imager designed for use with diagnostic imaging systems, such as mobile c-arm units, ultrasound systems and cardiac cath labs. Supporting both 8x10 inch Blue Thermal Film and Thermal Printing Paper, this high resolution printer offers photo-like film and prints with 512 levels of gray. By using its USB connectivity and compatible printer driver software, it can be used conveniently within a generic Microsoft Windows® environment. Additionally, the printer can be used for reference image printing by utilizing the FilmLink feature to connect it to the Sony FilmStation imager. This flexible connectivity delivers the ability to produce simultaneous reference prints. With a variety of other convenient features packed into its compact body, the UP-D72XR is ideal for a wide range of medical applications.

UP-74XRD
8x10" DICOM Digital Film Imager (film or paper DICOM and USB int)
The UP-D74XRD is a low cost, 8x10" diagnostic thermal black and white digital film and paper imager with both DICOM and USB interfaces. It is designed specifically for use with medical diagnostic imaging systems, such as ultrasound, mobile c-arm, and X-ray. Built-in DICOM and USB interface allow for use with PACS network or for direct PC connection. For additional convenience LCD display controls and media loading are all located on the front panel providing simple operation.
